Product Marketing Manager

Senior Marketing Managers team, aggressively participated in the marketing team's urgent need to create OFS's new corporate identity and brands through implementing and utilizing the following activities:

* Created and updated OFS' s new on-line product catalog for Optical Connectivity Division's (OCD) using Open Market web software and continuing through a successful launch of OFS' new e-commerce capabilities (inaugurated at the NFOEC 2002 trade show). Brought to market on time, the new web site resulted in providing the purchase of over 2000 OFS fiber optic products electronically by global customers, adding incremental revenue to the divisions existing $60 million dollar business.

* Co-Authored published Magazine article in Cabling Business Magazine titled: Layout and Design of a Fiber Optical Distribution System, circulation of 31,000 readers.

* Designed and planned Optical Fiber Solutions (OFS) corporate trade-show participation (BICSI, ECOC, and NFOEC shows) developing product brochures, datasheets, and product samples. Trade show footprints generated customer interested and successful lead tracking information for sales F/U.

LUCENT TECHNOLOGIES/ BELL LABORATORY`S, Atlanta, Georgia 1981 - 2001

Senior Technical Design Associate

Bell Laboratory`s fiber optic R&D team. Responsibilities included product design creating both Fiber Optic cable and Fiber Optic connector equipment. Projects designed utilizing CADD 3D solid model computer software. Several projects awarded Significant Technical Achievement Awards from Lucent Bell Laboratories staff, some projects highlights included:

* Lucent`s Robust Optical Connector (ROC) for F22 Raptor fighter. F22 Raptor currently being flown

by US Air Force.

* Joint venture with Lucent Shanghai Fiber Optic Company installing two 40ft plus round fiber optic draw towers, these towers were successfully installed and are producing optical fiber cable in Shanghai, China.

* VAD preform cart design for fiber optic VAD preform production transportation. Project completed on schedule for grand opening of new production facility improving product quality and security.

* Fog-V fiber optic controlled missile system for the U.S. Navy. Successful military deployment.

CHEVROLET, Atlanta, Georgia 1978 - 1981

New Car Service Manager

* Reporting directly to New Car Sales Manager and Service Manager. Supervised seven auto technicians` additional responsibilities included directing, hiring, and training operations, with low turnover.

* Responsible for all new vehicle delivery quality control and customer service satisfaction. Customer vehicle satisfaction began in areas as vehicle shipping damage, all warranty claims associated with new car problems including damages, and installing a variety of customer requested accessories equipment. Department earned recognition by GM, Chevrolet Division Atlanta Region for significant improvement in customer service satisfaction over a period of twelve months, regional 1st place, documented.
