Experience

Lantana Toll Facility- Managed 90-110 employees. Scheduling, counseling, interviewing, training, balancing toll collector tills and managing Managers Safe. Zero tolerance for cash shortages. Customer conflicts, also had to communicate with FHP to handle unruly patrons/employees. Audits conducted daily to balance vehicles vs, revenue. This was key to prevent shrinkage/revenue loss. Responsible for daily reports to Plaza Manager/Regional Manager. Weekly conference calls, for facility updates with 10 other plaza managers, Regional Manager, Assistant RM, Safety Compliance, QA Control. Managed about 2.0 million in cash revenue,

Barton Protective Services- Human Resources Manager. Responsible for hiring toll collectors for seven different toll facilities ranging from Lantana to Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Hiring consisted of interviewing over the phone and in person, running a criminal background check, drug testing, finger printing, and all required paperwork that the company required, as well as Federal, W-4, I-9. I was also responsible for working with local papers to place ads and local work force agents to assist with the hiring when needed, At times there could have been a shortage of toll personnel up to 50 needed employees. We also implemented the Reid Test for all toll personnel. I was responsible for maintaining the employee files as we kept two sets of files. One with the pertinent paperwork, that the State of Florida could audit. The second file, kept pertinent paperwork that the company required. A third file was kept later on as required by HIPPA.

Contract Manager- Three Lakes Toll Facility - Opened a new toll facility. Responsible for direct communication with the client, ensure that all needs and contractual obligations were met. Total employees for this facility was approximately 95-125 employees.

Contract Manager-Palm Beach District- Responsibilities remained the same as Three Lakes except on a larger scale. Responsible for 11 toll facilities, spanning over 180 miles. Annual total revenue, $ 1,5 million.

I was also responsible for working and mentoring our MBE Partner. (Minority Business Enterprise Partner). The MBE Company was responsible for hiring all toll facility laborers/couriers for the District, and the State of Florida.

I had to manage all financials for the District as well as overseeing 4 Operations Managers, 2 Human Resource Managers, 11 Plaza Managers, 24 Supervisors, and 35 Supervisor in Training employees. I was solely responsible for ensuring contract compliance with the Department of Transportation.

Director of Operations: Basically same responsibilities as the Contract Manager, with the exception I would oversee the entire State of Florida. I would go into a District that is not operationally sound and make all necessary changes, to include change in personal, procedures, etc. I was also responsible for ensuring that the profit margins required were met.

* Vice President of the Northern Division: This promotion took place in December of 2002. The State was divided into three Regions, with three respective Vice Presidents, I was responsible for overseeing approximately 143,000 Hours Per Month. I was responsible for Three Districts, Orlando, Palm Beach and North Broward. This span was approximately 300 miles to include 33 toll facilities, and approximately 600 + staff. Financials, training, scheduling, mentoring, first point of contact for the customer, problem solving, customer service, various task teams not only through the organization, but partnering with the State of Florida. Total annual revenue, $23,000,000.00

In 2007 the contract was lost to another organization and I was offered a position as District Manager for the Deerfield District in our Security Division, I held that position until May, 2012. Total annual revenue, $14,000,000.00. I was also responsible for reviewing all contracts and ensuring that all obligations were met for each client, and that we were billing accurately,
