Web page responsibilities at Worthington Public Library
Examples of Web page development projects:
In this Worthington Bicentennial legacy project, Project Manager Susan Allen and I developed a SQL Server 2000 database and ColdFusion Web interfaces to serve as the back end for this digital library.
- I built this generator using ColdFusion and a SQL Server 2000 database.
I developed this Online Calendar from concept to execution. I created the database design, the ColdFusion Web forms and interfaces, and trained community partners to maintain their own data. I worked in collaboration another ColdFusion programmer to create the current Web interface. This Internet directory uses a database as the foundation for a ColdFusion-query-based gateway to all of Worthington Library's Electronic Resources. It provides subject access to free Internet resources, licensed resources that are library card accessible, and premium library resources that are restricted to library use only. It differentiates between in-library users and remote users by identifying the IP address of each request, and pathing the ColdFusion queries accordingly.
