Description of ICY-6 and SALAMAH-2 Project : Construction of fully automated (IEC 61850)

new 110/13.8kV GIS substation with 4 incoming 110kv feeder bays, 3x110/13.8kV, 50/67 MVA

Power transformers, 3x7 MVAR 13.8kV Capacitor Banks on turnkey basis, along with associated

MV switchgear and civil works including 34 outgoing 13.8kv cable feeder bays in substation.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Performed construction management and all related services such as Work Scheduling,

Monitoring and Control.

2. reviewed all Construction Contractor’s Design Submittals including detailed design

calculation, structural design and analysis, construction drawings, installation details

and other similar/related activities and ensure that all design details submitted by

construction contractors comply with Company’s requirements.

3. Maintained quality control procedures for installation of the projects and shall monitor

all inspection functions.

4. Inspected all contractors’ incoming materials for damage and for compliance with

Contract’s Technical Specifications.

5. Hold weekly construction progress meetings separately with Contractors to determine

work progress, discuss problems, coordinate actions, plan and anticipate future

requirements.

6. Monitored Contractor’s work schedule, and suggest appropriate corrective actions to

be taken by the Contractors in case of actual work completed by the Contractors is

less than the forecast.
