Converted a manual wheelchair into a laser-activated one with individually designed controls, including an HC11 microcontroller and two DC windshield wiper motors. - Innovative design enabled the wheelchair to be manipulated with minimal power, utilizing two 6-volt and one 9-volt batteries. - Apparatus contained seven photoresistors and a ULN2003 integrated chip.- Created an award-winning series of integrated controls providing forward and backward motions as well as sideway movements. This unique design was completed within minimal budgetary requirements.

Developed software for a motion-sensor activated door with an integrated alarm system. - Design was applied to commercial installations including the protection of large warehouse spaces.
