University of Ottawa and over 3 years of professional sales/project management experience. My
background makes me confident that I have the required skills and the qualifications for the
position. The nature of my previous work allowed me to have strong sales management skills
(customer contact activities, formulation of offers, coordination and follow up activities of the
order/project and the administrative work). In my last job, Sales Support Engineer in ABB, I was
responsible with my team for promoting and developing the process automation systems
business in minerals industry. Through my work I have developed my critical thinking and
analytical skills by studying and thoroughly analyzing tenders and formulate technical and
commercial offers. I also enhanced my interpersona l and communication skills as I had to handle
customer complaints and provide the appropriate support . My master s degree strengthened my
customer service exper ience as I have studied CRM (the knowledge of customers acquisition
and retention and the techniques used to maximize company s profits during the customers life
span). By conducting sales meetings and negotiating offers with customers and suppliers I
improved my negotiation and mediation skills. By directing and leading multimillion dollar
upgrade projects, I improved my project management skills from planning, designing, execution
and budgeting. Also my studies enriched my PM experience as I have studied two advanced PM
courses on how to manage projects based on PMBOK methods.
While working in ABB I have gained a sound sense of business procedures and practices in large
organizations. As being a sales support engineer I have carried out technical presentations for
new services/solutions and participated in trade shows. I gained experience in account
management as I was managing accounts locally and internationally in my assigned territory. I
also handled the communication between key customers and our Business Unit. Being part of a
sales team that worked in a fast-paced environment that demanded results driven productivity
allowed me to enhance my multi-tasking, time management, and organization skills.
My previous experience and field of study have developed my knowledge about the management
of people, projects, products and organization resources in technical environment. Also, has
