Summary:
I am in the process of changing careers and am seeking to be involved in the Industrial Safety field. My education, leadership ability, health & safety experience and hands-on manufacturing background have prepared me well for a role in Industrial Safety.
I am a Graduate Safety Practitioner from Oakland University(tm)s Occupational Safety and Health (ABET accredited) program having graduated with departmental honors and was inducted into Oakland University(tm)s safety honor society. I achieved this level while working full time. I am a high energy person with a personality that drives me to be the best.
Currently I hold the position of Assistant Supervisor and Safety Representative for the midnight shift. I am a stable and responsible individual and have been employed with my current employer for 22 years. During this time, I have gained a great deal of practical experience in the area of health and safety. I am also well versed in governmental regulations and have a high level of comfort in training presentations.
