Substantial contribution to Systems Architecture Designs and Integration in various dual-band radars for defense mission. Lead IRAD activities on Low Cost Distributive Array Radar & MMW Imaging Radar for Homeland Security-Marine Domain Awareness. Principal investigator on radiation hazards (RADHAZ) CONTROL CONOP for DDG 1000 & AFSS high-power high-performance phased-array radar systems. Leading a team of engineers for DDX DBR ship environment study-Radar signature evaluation for DDX advanced gun systems, ship-motion Doppler shift, EMI/co-site interference and gun-blast impacts.

1998-2005 MIT Lincoln Laboratory

Leading a team of engineers, technicians in the development of compact and high performance 7-inch

Square Four-Element GPS Polarimetric Antenna Array. Principal investigator in the analyses and

evaluation of various antenna configurations (linkage, coverage, and co-site interference) on the Lincoln Lab’s Paul Revere aircraft test-bed. Lead engineer in various complex projects e.g. small VHF vector antenna sensors on UAV Platforms, quiet-zone evaluation of the New Compact Range at the Laboratory for antenna and RCS measurement, Millstone radar L-band antenna systems upgrade. Engage in in-depth study for the further development of Synthetic Aperture Radar ( High-Definition imaging ), STAP and GMTI mode of radar operation. Substantial contribution towards ECCM assessment for Sensor Platforms & Satcom networks.

Sanders (Now BAE Systems)

Managing a team of electromagnetic & mechanical engineers for the design of J-Hook balun printed

dipoles IFF antenna array for MERS ( Multifunction Electromagnetic Radiating System) application.

Principal investigator on antenna design for Arsenal ship and related programs.

Developed a new product line of advanced electromagnetic coupled microstrip panel antennas of PCS

(Personal Communication Service). Refinement of reflector/feed products for point to point communication.

1988-1994 Electronic Space Systems Corporation (ESSCO)

Designed and analyzed metal space frames, wideband sandwich radomes and microwave feed for radar &

communication applications. Principal Investigator: spherical near-field measurement for far-field

transformations; microwave holographic technique for reflector panel alignment; the multi-layer radome application with wire de-icing capability; the TDWR (Terminal Doppler Weather Radar) feed system; radome electromagnetic scattering effect; advanced design technique for large Compact Range reflector.
