LAWSON SOFTWARE, St. Paul,MN 1998 - 2007

Senior System Engineer

Responsible for software analysis, repair, enhancements, and customizations.

* Developed, tested, maintained, and enhanced an MS Office Excel Add-In presentation layer product to perform queries and mass updates to Lawson Enterprise databases. This program earned Lawson over $5 million per year and was used by over 94% of Lawson s customers. Received technology recognition award for initiative and customer service.

* Developed, tested, and integrated a C++ Lotus Domino web connectivity interface to Lawson s API allowing customers using Lotus Domino to access Lawson applications and databases.

* Analyzed software problems and performed timely cross platform software repairs on Lawson environment and business enterprise software products.

Responsible for helping develop new software for an embedded Ground Proximity Warning System for the British Harrier II jet fighter aircraft.

* Derived much of the preliminary design of the new software capabilities for customer verification and it was used by the software developers in coding the software.

* Coded, tested, and integrated the ground support maintenance capability which allowed the input of geographic data used to help guide and save the aircraft and pilots.

* Wrote the Maintenance Interface Document which instructed the user on how to use the maintenance software properly.

Responsible for helping design, code, test, and integrate embedded defense related software.

* Responsible for the requirements analysis, design, coding, and implementation of the Extraction, Retrieval, and Replay software on the US Navy CP2044 and Royal Australian Air Force P-3C Orion Aviation programs.

* Assisted in coding, testing, and integration of the Doppler and Air Data portion of the navigation software on the US Navy CP2044 program used in flight to navigate to locations and keep the aircraft on target.

* Helped design, code, test, integrate, and enhance a Robotics Subsystem Control program for building surface mount circuit cards used by both the US. Navy Mantech program and IBM.

* Helped design, code, test, and integrate a Relational Data Base Management System for a real-time proprietary Navy computer system used in submarines. Personally designed, coded, and unit tested the packetized programmer s interface used by programs interfacing with this database.
