Software Online Hotel Reservation System (Team Work) 2008
Design Designed a hotel reservation website in Java, JSP and HTML using Tomcat.
Accessed database through JNDI and used Java Servlets to response to user request.
Software for Calculation of the Basic Mode of Laser Cavities 2008
Programmed an iterative algorithm for calculating the basic mode of cavity using C++.
Built GUI that is used to set system parameters and display calculated dynamic results.
E-Archive Management System 2007
Used Swing to design friendly UI and several functionalities such as login, search, and management.
Wrote MySQL scripts and connected to database using JDBC.
Text Segmentation 2006
Developed an algorithm to segment sentences written in Chinese into words using C.
Applied data structures (hash table and linked list) to search Chinese words in dictionary efficiently.
DSP Blind Equalization for Digital Communications 2010
Design Programmed various constant modulus algorithms for different modulation formats.
Studied the properties of each algorithm and proposed a novel blind equalization algorithm that can
be implemented in the frequency domain with fast convergence.
Post-filters for Speech Coding System (Team Work) 2009
Read the noisy signal from wave files, quantized it and modified its spectrum.
Implemented various post-filters to improve the signal-to-noise ratio estimation of the speech signals.
Hardware Heart Rate Measuring System (Team Work) 2008
Design Designed, built, debugged and tested the embedded system with sensor, amplifiers, shaping circuits,
8051 microcontroller, keyboards, decoder, driver and LED displayer. (Including analog and digital
circuit design)
