Performance Labor Management, PLM Inc.-Charlotte, NC January 2011- September 2012

Performance Champion (August 2011-September 2012)

a Led a 12 person Supply and Logistical team to support Boy Scouts of America 2012 Shakedown (Jamboree test) 2,000 Scouts event.

o Managed and developed the kit configurations of supplies sent to Troops camp site.

o Managed the logistics of Troop kits from the DC to the Summit Bechtel Reserve, 42 miles apart in a 2 month time frame to support 2,000 Troops and Staff.

o Managed and developed the recovery process of Troop kits from the Summit Bechtel Reserve back to the DC.

o Developed the refit and refurbish process of inspecting, cleaning, inventorying all items recovered after the Shakedown event.

Operations Manager (November 2008-June 2010)

a Led an 82 person 95% Spanish Speaking only change management project for team development, improve client relationship; implement process improvements, and cost savings projects at Electrolux.

o Eliminated a step in process that required packers to roll cords. This improvement resulted in an annual cost savings of $32,000 for Electrolux.

o Reduced downtime in the Packaging department by shifting work force to other areas when downtime occurred resulting in $156,000 of annual savings for Electrolux.

o Reduced scrap in the Packaging department from 6% down to 1.5%.

o Created a cross training program to promote a flexible workforce and provide the opportunity for the associates to learn more and grow which resulted in cross training 82 employees in 5 departments.

o Managed cost savings initiative of $672,583 of total annual savings.

a Launched a Supervisor Training Program for a new Supervisor at Cooper Bussman.

The process involved inbound, outbound, sorting, warehousing, inventory control and repair for returnable shipping containers. Used to ship ATVas and Watercraft to store locations nationwide.

o Develop process improvement for 100% receipt of all parts from Honda suppliers saving both Honda and South East Express over $250,000.

o Develop process improvement for 100% parts put away in warehouse location and system. Savings of $15,000 daily for South Express.
