I worked as a Correctional Officer for 4 years, supervising adult male felons in a California State Prison, housing approximately 3500 Psychiatric and Medically assigned inmates. I also worked for 4 years as a Correctional Sergeant and as a Correctional Lieutenant for 10 years, in the same facility.
As a Sergeant, I was responsible for the supervision of Correctional Officers and inmates in the visiting complex, and was also assigned to the Investigative Services Unit/Internal Affairs.
