I am a reliable, hardworking, self-motivated, handy man. I have been Self Employed since 1981. My retail music store closed in 2011 and I really need to work. Possess many skills including, music, instrument repairs, carpentry, electrical, painting, customer service, retail sales and more. I am computer literate and proficient at Quick Books, Excel, Word, Publisher and others. Some of my own accomplishments are installing dual pane windows and rewiring my own home. I enjoy challenges.

I teach guitar lessons in the evenings and perform with a local band occasionally on the weekends.

I was also stage manager for a local production company 1980's through 1996.

As stage manager I led the stage crew and placed the bands on and off stage.

I have also been painting houses to make ends meet. I also occasionally repair guitars and other stringed instruments.

I am a highly self-motivated worker. As retail store owner I stocked inventory, sold musical instruments, taught guitar lessons and repaired musical instruments. As an affiliate with NEMC, I rented instruments to the school music programs. I rented and repaired all NEMC instruments. I handled all shipping and receiving for the store.

As a Fender Dealer, I became a Fender authorized repair tech, Silver Level, Acoustic and Electric Guitars and Bronze Level, Electronic repair.

At the bronze level, I replaced speakers, jacks, pot, tubes, caps, and switches etc. Silver level guitar repair included set-ups, replaced nuts & saddles, restring, intonation, crack repair etc.

I built store sales displays, teaching studios and petition walls. Maintained store employees and the teaching staff. I ran Quick Books, POS systems and scanned inventory into the POS. Did the accounting on Quickbooks and used MS Word, Excel, Publisher and notation programs. I cleaned and maintained the building. In the last two years of business, I ran the whole shop alone, unable to afford employees. I closed in April of 2011.
