This position encompassed most aspects of a CRA to include: site initiation, orientation, and education; site start up; site monitoring, verification of source documentation such as case report forms, and evaluation of regulatory documents such as IRB approvals and informed consent documents; verification of compliance with research protocol, institutional policies, and FDA requirements, including the ICH/GCP; assistance with patient recruitment and verification of proper enrollment and consent; evaluation of proper documentation and reporting of adverse events; facilitation of a positive working relationship between the principal investigators, the research coordinators, and the sponsor; assistance in the preparation of site documents; generation of reports for site initiation and monitoring visits; reporting the status of the study and its progress including study data to the sponsor.
