DetermiNation Sports Marketing Event Manager
* Responsible for implementing all elements of the DetermiNation program for the American Cancer Society which includes but is not limited to the creation and implementation of a marketing plan, creation and management of a seasonal budget, coordinating fundraising efforts and training logistics toguarantee the success of the DetermiNation marathon & Half Marathon program
* This year I coordinated and executed elements of promotional and marketing activites and successfully recruited 174 participants for the 2012 Rock 'n' Roll Seattle Marathon and Half Marathon. This was attained by holding public presentations to inform and recruit participants to join DetermiNation. Throughout the season, I provided fundraising support to all participants and together as a team we raised over $220,000
March 2011 - January 2012: COMPETITOR GROUP
Volunteer Coordinator, Grassroots Marketing Ambassador & National Expo Tour Staff
* Solely responsible for recruiting and coordinating over 3,000 volunteers for multiple Rock `n` Roll Marathon events including the 2011 Rock`n` Roll Seattle Marathon & Half Marathon benefiting the American Cancer Society, the inaugural 2011 TriRock Seattle Triathlon, and the 2011 Rock `n` Roll Denver Marathon & Half Marathon. All events were a complete success! Also co-coordinated the Rock `n` Roll Las Vegas Marathon and Half Marathon in 2011 .
* Created and executed grassroots marketing plan for the Rock `n` Roll Seattle Marathon & Half Marathon as well as the inaugural TriRock Seattle Triathlon including but not limited to flyer distribution, registration events, relationship building with local businesses, creating partnerships with local running, biking & swimming clubs, and using social media.
* Participated in Health & Fitness Expos: Providing excellent customer service while marketing and selling registrations for future Rock `n` Roll and TriRock races
