Responsible for a two-year software, hardware, and system conversion effort to convert a Safeway distribution center running remote processing to a stand alone Harvest Foods (a LBO of the Safeway division) grocery retail operation.

Responsible for the application development portion of the IT budget.

Worked with all departments to ensure the new systems being implemented met the business needs and where changes were necessary, wrote the requirements definitions and ensured changes were completed correctly. Since most of the software systems were purchased, ensured that changes were made in such a way as to facilitate new releases from the vendors.

Developed ER diagrams and Use Cases for the new systems and the legacy systems as an aid to the business in implementing these new systems. Reviewed test cases and test results.
