Reviewed new paint formulations coming into plant. Made significant changes to insure formulas were process capable and correct the first time.
Developed all plans for reworking off standard products back in to standard products for sale, producing new revenues and reducing waste by 10%.

Directed all phases of plant site operations including Receiving, Batch Manufacturing Operations and Fill Department Operations, directing 7 shift supervisors and 70 union employees, filling daily production of 75,000 gallons of decorative paint during peak production times.

Reduced manufacturing cycle time from an average of 40 hours to 34 hours by changing scheduling process and raw material staging process.
Spearheaded and led plant layout change by relocating Receiving department closer to manufacturing to eliminate operators need for long transport of raw material to point of use. Reduced operations from 19 to 11 saving substantial payroll and overhead expenses
