During my time with M.A Mortenson I worked on several projects from Hospital Additions, Sports Arenas to Multi-story High-rise buildings. I was in charge of anywhere from 60-150 union workers. My job duties included daily scheduling, performance goals and communication between sub-contractors.

Hagie Manufacturing Clarion, IA

Engineering Manager

In 2005 I was asked to come work for a Company in Clarion IA I started as a scheduler for the engineering department and within 3 months was asked to run the department. My duties included managing 8 manufacturing engineers, 10 design engineers, documentation department along with the research and development department. I handled the manufacturing floors problem solving to new product development. During my employment I pushed a slowly motivated group to one that in 200*-****-**** won several awards including 2007 Product of the Year. Our department developed 12 new products creating 4 award winning products that pushed manufacturing to double its size to meet demands.

In 2006 I was appointed to the Senior Staff of Hagie Manufacturing. This was 7 people responsible for the daily functions of the organization our tasks included budgets, goals, staffing, business outlook.

In late 2006 I was also appointed to handle the new large manufacturing addition that almost doubled the size of the plant my duties included sub contractor bids, department meetings and scheduling.

In late 2008 due to the economic down turn the business was forced to change its direction and release several employees including myself.
