decision making. This situation presented unique challenges as the plant is in South

Africa

and cultural issues required the strict use of process.

This

goods. Resulting cost analysis rationalized product lines and identified less profitable

product offerings. Modified Activity Based Costing model was adopted for all future new

product proposals.

l Led the Finance Function of a $5 billion company in the development of a functional

strategy. The clients and services matrix was developed and major areas of focus were

determined. Completion of client/service matrix facilitated staffing decisions and

the associated capabilities.

l Facilitated the decision process for the shared service location of a Finance Function
