My name is Alexis Arledge and I am moving to Vancouver in 2 weeks and am looking for work. I am currently licensed in Texas and have been working full time for 7 months. I can cut, color, do extensions, perms, and specialty styles also. I also do makeup, manicures and pedicures, am familiar with the Gelish Shellac system, and do acrylic nails as well. The color and product lines I am most familiar with include Paul Mitchell, Wella Koleston and Color touch, Affinage, Joico, Pravana, Pureology, It's a 10, and Sebastian Professional. I am very comfortable doing any type of color and learn very quickly. I work very clean and keep myself busy if I am not taking care of a guest. As soon as I graduated from school I was employed and also did volunteer work styling models for El Paso Fashion Week and El Paso's Etched Beauties 2013 Calendar. I work hard and am constantly looking to learn new techniques so I can keep up with upcoming trends in cutting and color. I am a very fast learner and very personable. I believe in making a guest feel welcome and offering them the best service available. I would love to work at a salon that offers furthering education so I can continue to learn advanced techniques and perform top notch services. My ideal salon would be commission or salary based since I am new to the area and have hardly any client base.
