Achievements

Masco Cabinetry & Masco Builder Cabinet Group-

Even though the New Home Construction industry has been devastated during the past few years, my South US region continued to gain share year over year throughout the downturn. Result: 2012 revenue of $85M is up 16% over 2011.

Optimized Operational Efficiency by innovative Operational and Logistics model and transformation. Consolidated 12 Branch distribution centers and 7 countertop fabrication operations into 1 Master Hub in Orlando. Result: Saved $7.4M annually and improved efficiency by 32.6% without interrupting customer service.

Led the Nation in launching a premium countertop product line (granite, quarts, etc.), in conjunction with the preexisting cabinetry sales. Result: Doubled -take per home- by adding tops (revenue and profit).

Significantly grew countertop share as result of aggressive launch. Result: In first 2 years grew from $0 to $10M. Aggressiveness of selling premium countertops also increased -New Cabinetry and Top business- by customer appeal of being able to get countertops and cabinets at same time. Result: Attributable new business share gain of 12 - 17%.

Industry Leader in customer satisfaction and business relationships. Achieved by scalable and sustainable operational process improvements along with KPI goals and measurements. Result: Have attained and maintained a 99.2% OTC (On Time & Complete) performance rating which elates New Home Builder Customers.

Dayco Products Inc.-

Implemented and Managed the company`s closed loop Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) process including long range strategic plans, operation plans, and the execution of schedules and production of end items. Result: Linked all functions to enable company growth from $350M to $600M in sales and improved profit margin 12.5% within 4 years.

Directed distribution center operations to efficiently and accurately manage 145K SKU`s worldwide. Result: 5 national distribution centers turn $25M if inventory 10+ times/year and earned -Class A- -Operations Excellence- operation award.

Streamlined logistics department processes by training all 6 managers on demand and inventory planning, and distribution center operations on supply chain management techniques. Result: Improved efficiencies 10-15% while reducing $12M departmental budget expenses 1.5% - 7.5% annually.

Centralized and consolidated inventory control functions at the corporate office thereby eliminating activity overlap and redundancies in 5 warehouses and 9 factories. Result: Reduced associated HR needs by 71%, and decreased expenses by $2M+, and reduced inventory $5.5M.

Strategically restructured and reorganized distribution and materials management networks, including 7 DCs, by developing the logistics plans and coordinating timeline. Result: In less than 2 year, we constructed 2 new sites, relocated 2 facility operations, and consolidated 3 facility operations, without interruption to customer service or delivery performance.

Director, Builder Channel Sales - South US Region, Masco Cabinetry, Orlando, FL, 2010 - 2012

Promoted to Director, and as a senior leadership team member was charged with developing, executing, and managing National and Regional Sales and Branch Operational Strategies. Regional scope includes FL, GA, LA, AL, AR, MS, TX, TN, and OK, and includes multiple Branch Operations and sales teams. Responsible for turnkey sales and supply of Masco Cabinetry's nationally known and prestigious KraftMaid(R), Merillat(R), and Quality(R) Cabinets, plus DeNova(tm) Countertops to the top New Home Builders. Even though the New Home Construction industry has been devastated during the past few years, my region continued to gain customer and revenue share year over year throughout the industry downturn. 2012 revenue of $85M is up 16% over 2011, with an Operational efficiency improvement of 32.6%.

Area Manager, Sales & Operations - Florida/Georgia, Masco Builder Cabinet Group, Orlando, FL, 2005 - 2010

Promoted to Area Manager, responsible for $58M in cabinetry and countertop sales to New Home Builders and Dealers in Florida and Georgia. Effectively lead Branch sales and operations teams through the tough times of the New Home Construction industry. Through this depressed period, successfully continued to gain share 12% - 17% annually. Also revamped entire distribution and logistics model in Florida by consolidating 12 Branch DCs and 7 Countertop Fabrication Operations into one Master Hub in Orlando, which saved $7.4M annually without interrupting customer service. Was awarded the distinguished -Anno Mirabilis Award- for designing and implementing this key Hub and Spoke LEAN initiative.

Branch Manager, South Florida Markets, Texwood Industries/Quality Cabinets, West Palm Beach, FL, 2002- 2005

Responsible for cabinetry and countertop sales in Southern Florida. Included turnkey functions of Sales, Distribution, Countertop Fabrication, Installation, and Service. Grew sales from 4$M to $22M in 3 year period with record profits.

Dayco Products Inc.-

Director, Distribution & Logistics, Dayton, OH, 1995 - 2000

Directed Logistic operations and functions in a $600M division. Coordinated Distribution Center Operations, Supply Chain, and Planning of $95M of inventory, with a budget of $12M. Led company`s Strategic Planning and Supply Chain activities to achieve increased sales, cash flow, and profitability. Directed the corporate strategic and tactical SOP process. Centralized supply and inventory planning, to timely balance supply from 13 plants for sales of $550M. Facilitated the optimization of $260M of plant capacity. Coordinated and led project to streamline/consolidate 7 DC`s.

Manager, Sales and Operations Planning, Dayton, OH, 1994 - 1995

Trained and educated fellow top managers and senior executives on utilization and benefits of formal SOP process and implemented same.
