Mark Zagotti's Summary
I started my professional career as a tooling systems applications engineer for BAS Components. I developed fastening specifications for clinch nuts and studs for automotive and other metal stamping appications. I also performed tensile testing of stamped components.
At Traco I started off as a Product Improvement Engineer. I developed fabrication drawings for all types of aluminum window extrusions. I designed aluminum extrusions for various fenestration applications. I then moved on to designing windows, launching a variety of add-ons and window hardware optimization, and field testing to AAMA and customer requirements.
At Technoform, I specialize in thermal simulations per NFRC guidlelines using Window / Therm 5 software. I also specialize in redesigning the thermal zone in aluminum windows and utilizing warm edge technology to offer superior thermally performing windows.
