Responsible for shipping the new iconic Bing branded homepage on Bing launch. Lead cross

team (development, artist, content and marketing) under tight deadline. New homepage was

shipped on time to support multimillion dollar marketing campaign and was core focus of

the campaign.

Explored and delivered many significant Facebook and Bing.com integrated features:

Delivered v1sharing integration (presented at 2009 company meeting)

Delivered v1 integration with Facebook Connect & Instant Personalization to power

people search and like answer. Launch was presented by Mark Zuckerberg. Significant

milestone for Bing that now brings over 25 millions signed-in users monthly.

As an experienced program manager in the Windows team, I have jump started, designed and

shipped several cutting edge v1.0 features in Windows Vista and Win7. I have worked mainly

in the area of Natural interfaces (NUI) (Windows Speech Recognition) and integration of

web services on the desktop (IE8 Accelerators). I am one of the inventors on two patents

related to web services integration and speech recognition.

Key demonstrated skills:

Defining customer scenarios: The Win7 scenarios I identified generated some of the

highest customer interest worldwide compared to all the other Win7 scenarios.

Design: In Vista and Win7, I have designed features that delighted customers. A recent

UX study showed that one of my Win7 design that combined voice, touch & accelerators

generated by far the highest satisfaction and excitement from end-users.

Drive technical teams: Through the Vista and Win7 product cycles, I gave dev and test

clear directions on the end result expectations through detailed feature spec.

Cross-group: In order to turn scenarios into features in Windows 7, I successfully

created win-win partnership with quality partners like Internet Explorer, MS Hardware,

Speech Component Group. I setup a communication, bug management and spec review process to

ensure that all teams were working healthily together.

Project Management: As an experienced project manager, I am known to deliver on time,

setup or improve processes to increase quality and do the right trade off while keeping

the customer in mind. In Vista, I setup a new process to dramatically boost the quality of

our localization. In Win7, I minimized cross-group collaboration risk by setting up a

weekly summary email with the IE team, recapping new bugs, fix ETA, RI status. All my Win7

deliverables were delivered ahead of schedule.

Mentoring: I enjoy helping peers reach their full potential. I mentored interns and new

program managers.
