SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Reducing equipment breakdowns to cut costs. S.A. Recycling's California plant and WM Hobbs NM area was operating inefficiently, equipment downtime was excessive and employee morale was low. Reorganized and redesigned shop and office layout and instituted quality control measures. Decreased breakdowns 45% and reduced costs 35%.
Bringing unused equipment online to improve ROI. S.A. Recycling had purchased an expensive bore alignment machine that was not being used. Discovered that technicians did not know how to use the machine. Created dealer training program for staff that saved $20K in align bore jobs and recovered machine investment in 5 months.
Opening and managing statewide repair facility. NationsRent in FL had huge amounts of expensive heavy equipment that could not be used because of disrepair. Opened shop, trained technicians and began process of repair and refurbishment. Surpassed all expectations, processing average of $750K worth of equipment monthly.
Remanufacturing machines to improve reliability and drive revenues. NationsRent had contract to remanufacture and rent back worn-out aerial lifts for a local power plant. Totally refurbished two 120-foot lifts per month, achieving two-year service life and netting the company $700K in revenue, plus additional contracts.

Owner, Conan's Consignments, 2008. Operated a profitable auction business that sold a range of consigned merchandise, including machinery, through a number of outlets such as eBay and Craig's List.
