Student Accomplishments: Dean's list first year in continuing education, maintained excellent grade point averages, learned a great deal about the importance of research, organizational and time management skills. Most effectively learned the importance of hard work.
Work Accomplishments: While employed for HISD as offered I attended several workshops and received certificates of attendance in a wide variety of genres pertaining to education. My work in the Special Education division allowed the rewarding experience of improving student/parental satisfaction of the learning environment, as well as provide information to the district on certain obstacles for the physically challenged in order to allow for equality among students. One year I was personally chosen by a parent to be one on one with their child out of the entire special education faculty because of my expertise in working with this certain handicap and condition. While employed at Heritage Champions Academy I had the opportunity of increasing each individual child's grades in each class. I also accomplished gaining rapport on hard to reach students which helped to get them interested in the work. It is also prided that each child that I have worked with had improved in all areas of school. While employed at Best Western I pride myself in accomplishing the goal of gaining more clientele and frequent stay guests and helped boost revenue.

While employed with the district, the five years of service consisted of many different and rewarding position types. The first year of service I had the opportunity to work in the background with the Special Education Department. I worked with the diagnosticians on every campus other than the high school. In this position it was required of me to travel from school to school on certain days in order to provide support for the diagnosticians. It was a requirement to facilitate all of the paperwork, computer data entry, parental communication, mainly working in an office setting. The second year through the fifth year I worked one on one with students aside the teachers in support. Implemented Individual Education Plans to increase student literacy and support school reading programs.
Ensured quality of education of students by opening up the lines of communication between parents, staff, and administration.Collaborated with team of faculty and staff in the implementation of certain procedures required for each individual student. Improved student moral by gaining rapport and respect. In the last year, reduced inefficiencies by supporting the teachers in facilitating proper maintenance of student activities and schoolwork. While employed with Heritage Champions Academy, the main duties required for the job was to maintain all the filing, paperwork, and parental communications by setting up meetings for the faculty, staff, administrators, and parents.
