* Met challenge of determining why (Force Protection

dispatch FSR's to hazardous zones.

into the Retrograde Property Assistance Team (RPAT) yard,

* Improved organizational performance through hands-on

training and by applying Lean Six Sigma practices, resulting

in monthly recovery of C4ISR averaging $7.4MM.

* Conducted a time and process study (using Lean Six

Sigma) to determine how long it took to ship equipment out

of Iraq and back to overhaul sites in the US. Found the

process on the ground in Iraq was broken; it took an average

of 30 to 45 days for repairable items to reach the US site.

Unfortunately the Operation only had one small truck on the

Base in Iraq to take the equipment to the airport.

* Transformed process by arranging for flatbed 18-

wheelers to come to the Base; saved 144 staff-hours and

quadrupled the # of items that could be shipped together to

the US.
