Currently, manage AIG business unit DR exercises at both internal and 3rd party recovery facilities working closely with the DR/BC personnel imbedded in the business units. Majority of the work is focused on testing the recovery plans.

Built and Lead Humana`s Disaster Recovery Program. Effectively lead internal teams through the preparation for and successful completion of a variety of key industry and regulatory disaster recovery audits and final assessment including remediation activities. Familiar with regulatory audits requirements including SAS-70, ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, and Sarbanes Oxley. Representing Humana`s continuity controls for regulatory and business obligations to external vendors and assessors. Member of Humana Business Continuity Management Steering Committee.

From the ground up built a Disaster Recovery Program and Team. Went from a small number of outdated plans to over 350 strong DR Plans. Manage DR Program for three data centers and 32 remotes offices. Some of the solutions implemented are TSM, Oracle RMAM, Avamar, Light Speed, Data Domain, SRDF, and IBM Protectier VTL, VPLEX (in process) and Recovery Point. Includes remote offices across the US as well as new acquisitions, migrations for Humana Pharmacy.

Participate in appropriate IT development-planning meetings and activities. Assist IT departments in enhancing, formalizing, standardizing, testing and maintaining the recovery planning process, including forecasting and tracking mechanisms across IT Departments and Data Center Operations to facilitate timely accommodation of future Humana recovery requirements and opportunities.

Successfully lead a large data center recovery operation in November 2009, moving Humana`s largest data center in eight weeks under disaster conditions with no unplanned outages.
