WANTED: An employer that needs a professional and creative employee to join their team.

MY EXPERIENCE:

I have owned a florist and design company specializing in special events. This business was started from the ground up. I worked with the hardest kinds of customers. Brides can be temperamental and are the one customer that if things go haywire will talk bad about you for the rest of their lives. Corporate america want what they want at the price they want it . This meant that we had to communicate effectively and I had to ask lots of questions. I can handle the pressure of short deadlines and high expectations. I have exceptional ideas and customer service skills. I love a design challenge and can tackle most any project that needs an eye for color and style .

I have been a Store Manager for a large big box style party store. I hired, fired and recruited great talent. I assigned daily tasks, managed the money, set displays, made the schedule and filed reports. I was accountable for inventory and worked with the stores buyers. This required long hours and accountability.

I have sold life, health and disability insurance ( 12 years). This position taught me to be innovative and creative in business. I was very successful but could not deal with unethical behavior in this field.

NEEDS:

I want a work- life balance. I have a tendency to work myself to death. 40 to 70 hours per week if necessary. I would like to work no more then 45 hour per week more is alright during high peaks of business.

I want to work with people that are friendly and love their job.

My new employer should be easy to talk to and have a business plan.

Salary is negotiable.

ABOUT ME: I grew up in Salem Oregon then moved to Washington in 1984. I am married with three grown children. I have two Great Dane puppies. I love the outdoors. I spend my time gardening and doing art projects. I love community festivals and traveling.
