Qualities and Abilities
I am very comfortable working with a cash register completing transactions as well as general customer concerns. I am friendly, easy to train, and strive to exceed expectations, working well both alone and in a team environment. I enjoy cooking and working with my hands, as well as keeping a clean work space.
Experience
The majority of my work-related experience is in the field of customer service. In middle school, I worked after school a few nights a week as well as the occasional weekend at the coffee stand my mother owned, serving customers as well as handling the cash register. I also worked for a year at the Dollar Tree as a cashier where I came across a variety of customer concerns to resolve. At the Dollar Tree, I also gained experience in multi-tasking, I was responsible for a variety of tasks each shift besides my cashiering duties; merchandising, such as setting up displays, filling the store with balloons, helping with resets; and sales, where during the annual toy drive, I got over 100 donations in my shift, the record at the time.
