Police Advisor I & 2

OBJECTIVE

My objective is to obtain a position as a Police Advisor I & 2 with the BLUELAW INTERNATIONAL.

BACKGROUND SUMMARY

I have over thirty years of Policing experience. During this period of time I held myself to a high ethical code which I believe would compliment my abilities as a Police Advisor I & 2 with BLUELAW INTERNATIONAL .

I’ve had the opportunity of working in various units within the police service. I have experience working in Communications, Uniform patrol, to Breathalyzer, Traffic, Green Ribbon Task Force, Criminal Investigations, Emergency Tactical Unit, the Training Unit and Community Services.

During my career I developed an excellent working relationship with the Crown’s Office, often being in the role of lead investigator. I developed skills in communication and interpersonal relations working with the public, problem solving and handling disputes while working on patrol and within the community services unit.

My background is well rounded in investigation, teaching, coaching, mentoring, leadership and supervisory skills. I have developed these skills though academic courses, hands’ on athletic coaching, teaching police studies and personal experience. All of these skills will be an asset to BLUELAW INTERNATIONAL. Additionally my extensive knowledge of current legal and procedural knowledge will be a great asset to your organization.

I am currently working on completing a Bachelor of Professional Arts with a major in Criminal Justice Studies at Athabasca University. I have set a goal of finishing this program within a year period.

In conclusion I work well in team environments as well working alone without supervision. I am a self motivated individual and I seek out responsibility. I thrive in roles that will challenge most people. I look forward to working with BLUELAW INTERNATIONAL.
