Sept. 1987-Dec. 1987 Started as a entry level employee boxing frozen Hamburger Patties.
Dec. 1987-Feb. 1989 Was promoted to Line Lead of the Frozen Pattie Line. Responsibilities included, daily production schedule, machine setup and maintenance, and managing a crew of five employee's.
Feb. 1989-May 1989 Fire destroyed 95 percentage of plant and only salaried personal were retained for cleanup.
May 1989-Mar. 1990 Out of the salaried personal who remained five were chosen for office duty. And three more including, me were chosen for the task of receiving and shipping boxed beef out of a remaining cooler and dock.
Mar. 1990- Sept. 1999 New plant was built where I was the supervisor in charge of a hamburger processing department. My responsibilities included, daily production schedule, raw materials and finish goods inventories, product batch formulation to ensure least cost possible, maintenance of machinery in this department, both electrical and mechanical, the scheduling and managing of a crew that started at 5 employees and grew to a size of two shifts and 32 employees.
Sept. 1999- Jan 2007 Maintenance Lead in charge of five technicians, parts purchasing, plant and production line layout during a time of plant expansion, worked with and scheduled outside contractors, also spent time trouble shooting and repairing of equipment.
Jan 2007- July 2010 Director of Operations of the Ashville, New York AFA Foods Plant. In charge of our hourly employees and salaried supervisors.Responsible for improving productivity, product quality, and employee retention improvements. Worked with Temp agencies to bring on additional staff, and was responsible for employee evaluations. Formed a daily production schedule based on incoming orders for two shifts of production employees.
July 2010- Sept. 2012 Project Manager in charge of a wide range of projects. These projects included, Lock-out Tag-out training and audits,
capital projects such as conveyor and equipment designs, employee training document development,
