RESEARCH INTERESTS

Environmental microbial community ecology, particularly in relation to plant-microbe

interactions and biogeochemistry. Dissertation work focuses on microbial ecology and

biogeochemistry, specifically foliar endophytic fungal community diversity and function

using

field studies, greenhouse manipulations, and next-gen pyrosequencing techniques.
