MAINTENANCE SKILLS EXAMPLES
ELECTRICAL: Replace - receptacle, GFCI, switches, circuit breakers, ballast, photo cell baseboard heater, fan forced heater, cadets, PTAC's, some AC and air handlers, smoke detector, thermostat, water heater element, water heater thermostat, ceiling fan, as well as troubleshoot and trace wiring.
BATHROOM: Replace - tub shoe, angle stops, sink, toilet, faucet, faucet cartridge, copper, cpvc, pvc, and pex lines, bath hardware, exhaust fans, toilet hardware, caulk, tile, grout, vinyl, as well as install grab bars and snake clogged lines.
KITCHEN: Replace -- garbage disposal, drawer guides, cabinets and hardware, counter tops, range hood or motor, dishwasher pump, timer, gasket, range elements, limit switches, refrigerator components, and other appliance repair, and troubleshooting as needed.
COMMON LIVING AREAS: Repair -- trim, doors, windows, to include new install, change locks, re-key locks, drywall repair, texture and painting, install blinds, repair closet tracks, install lighting fixtures, clean dryer element.
MISCELLANEOUS: Pool and spa maintenance, concrete repair and surface plane, pressure washing, apartment and common area safety inspection, carpentry. Schedule vendors, order parts, inventory control, and good customer service skills. Grace Hill Fair Housing, training and course completion. Currently studying EPA 608 for future certification.
TOOLS: To do all jobs for repairs as stated above, with the exception of concrete planer/pressure washer.
