Pushed $23M Weapon Storage and Security System upgrade aligning organization and higher headquarters efforts, identifying shortfalls and gaps to keep the project on target for completion in 2012. Partnered with Italian Air Force and local Carabinieri Law Enforcement to direct over 200 patrols covering 40 miles and six areas. Significantly reduced enemy threat in the local area. Led and managed 341 United States Air Force Security Force members, 19 Army military policemen and 43 local German national employees providing police services to 53,000 people within the 1,150 square-mile Kaiserslautern Military Community. Directed and managed daily operations for all security, police services, resource protection, antiterrorism/force protection, investigations, plans and programs sections.
Lead security liaison for 2006 World Cup. Coordinated with various local agencies to bridge the gap between base, fire department, local police and government officials, delivering a seamless event. While exposed to the danger of a barrage of rockets in Iraq, within minutes, personally ensured the quick reaction force was deployed, and all base sectors were swept for enemy, unexploded ordnance, and casualties; Awarded the Bronze Star Medal Coordinated and delivered food, water, clothing, and shelter to over 840 local Bedouin tribesmen during weekly visits, which were instrumental in building cross-cultural bonds and provided enhanced early attack warning against terrorist and militia groups.
