Lampasas Radio KACQ FM/KCYL AM (Lampasas, TX)- August 2009 to present

Technical Director- August '09 to present

Duties: Completed the implementation and installation of new automation and music

selection system, trained staff on new system. Also, works as board-op for various

sporting events and remotes.

Music Director- November '09 to present

Duties: Work with promoters to schedule in-studios and secure new music. Report weekly to

various music charts. Created new clocks to reflect the format shift from satellite

delivered content to music programed in-house. Creates and loads daily music logs,

maintains the automation system programming (AM/FM), maintain stations music database and

insert any new music.

As well as jobs listed above, also assists with traffic by creating and loading daily

commercial logs and new orders as well as running promotions and updating the station

Facebook page. Co-anchors the noon, 6 and 10pm newscasts and covers the county

commissioner meetings for the Radiogram (in-house daily newspaper) and newscast.
