Managed and supervised department individual budgets as high as US$3M in the design, renovation and construction of in-house projects including: accommodation facilities, bridges, weighbridges, schools, gymnasiums, office buildings, illumination of soccer fields, substations, roads, water and sewer systems. Selected accomplishment includes the construction of 12km of paved roads, which reduced environmental, safety and coal hauling problems. The savings per ton of coal hauled were US$0.14 or US$420K/yr
