Contributed to a increase in productivity through improvements in operations, quality, safety and administration.
1. Planned, coordinated and implemented a new process to bring repairs in house that were previously done at an outside vendor. This process improvement allowed for a large improvement in turn time, allowed for inventory reduction which resulted in a large revenue savings for the company.
Created a on line training program to instruct new inspectors on the CFM-56 engine. Program is still in use today.
Personally managed production activities to guarantee orders were shipped on-time.
Promoted to Inspector in the Blade and Vane Dept., then moved over to Lead Mechanic
Learned to use many fine measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial gauges and radius gauges. USed this training through out my inspection career.
