RESPONSE PHASE
Provide Procurement and Contracting support to the Logistics Section during the BP MC252-Deepwater Horizon Incident. Served in PSCM Leadership positions at the Mobile, AL Incident Command Center, the New Orleans Unified Area Command Center and later, as restoration efforts evolved, Florida and Alabama Branch Areas of Operations.
Orchestrated a team of contractors consisting of Survey Crews, Construction Barges, Shallow Water Tug Boats, Diving Crews, and other land based support activities engaged in surveying, removing, recovering, and disposing of 2,200 steel and wooden pilings and 2 miles of floating pipe boom around coastal Louisiana from Lake Ponchartrain to Golden Meadow. Pilings were installed as a line of defense for the Oil Spill and had to be removed in a manner that was both environmentally and politically sensitive. The 6-month, multi-million dollar, project was completed with no time lost due to accident or incident and it generated revenue from the salvage value of the material.

Supervised field crews in the operation of remotely operated robotic vehicles (ROV's submarines) deployed in a 3-year cleanup effort of a RCRA hazardous waste site in Oak Ridge Tennessee.

Had P&L responsibility and a Team of 30 Senior Contract Administrators at NASA Bases from Florida to California. Authored NASA Service Delivery Guide: a Best Practices Manual for Closeout of Procurement instruments.
