build corresponding index files, allowing invoices to be stored in content manager

Captiva was one of the main document management systems for ARI Fleet
Project goal was to enhance and maintain the document management system
Developed several ActiveX DLL S that worked in conjunction with Captiva s InputAccell
to retrieve index information for users so documents could be stored within content

Email on Demand
Project goal - ARI Fleet needed a system that allowed its employees to easily add email
records to their document management system
Developed a user friendly application to import email documents directly into the
document management system

AIG International, Wilmington, DE October 1999 to May 2006Senior Programmer Analyst
Responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of a proprietary Document Management
system
Saved AIG hundreds of thousands of dollars by creating an automated system to index
documents into the Plexus Document Management System
Managed the Plexus Image System, maximizing its capabilities by creating several add-on
applications
Add-on applications included the development of a system in C++ which helped to delete
policies from the Plexus database (Oracle) based upon the cycle date
Additional add-ons included a the creation of a mechanism to store policies that were
backlogged in the system using VB and Oracle
Developed the SCR system in VB and Oracle to track SCR module movements
Wrote a VB program to extract data from an Oracle database and create a fixed length
file with the data
Developed a document import system using Visual C/C++ that interfaces with the Plexus
DMS
Previous experience at AIG includes working on a team responsible for an OCR System

Tiff File Conversion Project (Internal)- designed and implemented a tiff merge system
in Visual C++ for FileNet image files and reverse engineered the system to split the
merged tiff files into individual tiff files

IAS_NT Project - worked with a development team that was porting and rewriting an
existing Image Access System, from OS2 to Windows NT, written in Visual C++ to retrieve
images for users from FileNet repository
SRS Project - project involved enhancing First USA s Statement Retrieval system,
consisting of web clients, an ISAPI server, a Gateway and Locators to retrieve statement
information
CORBA Project - a customer service application to assisted customer service reps in
retrieving proprietary information in order to sell additional 3rd party credit cards.
This involved re-designing an existing two-tier client server system into a three tier
system, removing the business logic from existing fat clients, building a CORBA server
to implement the business logic, all done using Visual C, and C++
The Taratec Development Corporation, Wilmington, DE May 1996 to April 1998Programmer Analyst
Focused primarily on developing and supporting a proprietary Drug Documentation System
Enhanced DDS (Drug Documentation System) so that it was OLE compliant with both Word95
