527th Aggressor Squadron and 92 AMU, Bentwaters AB UK 1989-1991:

a Selected to become a team member of the fist traveling F-16 aggressor unit. Trained with and against foreign nationals in Decimomannu Air base Sardinia, Italy. Loaded air-to-air munitions and maintained weapons systems while flying adversary missions against foreign air forces.

a Weapons loader/gun maintenance crew team member with the 92 AMU A-10 squadron. Deployed to Operation Provide Comfort Incirlik AB Turkey at end of Desert Storm flying support missions into Northern Iraq guarding the Kurdish people. Loaded a large amount of live munitions and maintained weapons systems on deployed A-10as.

United States Air Force Air Demonstration Team,a Thunderbirdsa, Nellis AFB NV 1991-1994:

a Hand picked to be a member of the Thunderbird team. During this assignment 24 aircraft were transitioned from active Air Force fighters to demonstration aircraft and reverse. 12 existing demo jets were traded for newer upgraded models, in turn all 24 aircraft were modified and unmodified to return to their new roles in a six month period.

a Selected to be a load crew member for these transitions and removed and replaced 24 gun systems and smoke generator systems. Main positions held during assignment were maintenance operation center, air show flight safety recorder and observer. Responsibilities also included launching/recovering demo aircraft, servicing and maintain demo jets, loading and unloading C-141 transport aircraft, coordinating air show operations at home and on the road.

a Traveled over 200 days a year and visited three continents while demonstrating the pride, precision and the professionalism of the United States Air Force.

39th Test squadron and MSIP/FEP Program, Eglin AFB FL 1994-2000:

a Weapons Load crew chief 39th Test squadron. Loaded numerous test and experimental munitions on various modified blocks of F-16 fighters. Maintained AME/weapons systems, loaded munitions, and performed troubleshooting procedures for observation, test and evaluation missions. Supervised crew members and expedited as shift supervisor.

a Volunteered for new special program to further develop the Multi Stage Improvement Program and Fighter Enhancement Programs. Selected as the first dual airframe certified load crew chief for both programs. Supervised two load crews and maintained F-16/F-15 test aircraft. Duties included towing, servicing, maintaining, launching and weapons configuration for test missions. Awarded load crew of the quarter for two quarters during program involvement.

31st Special Operations Squadron, Osan AB Korea 2000-2001:

a Helicopter gun maintenance shift supervisor and expediter. Supervised six maintainers on swing shift. Configured H-53 Pavelow helicopters with mini guns, .50 caliber machine guns, explosive cartridges and

chaff / flare modules. Acted as squadron small arms monitor and trainer for M-4, M-9 and shotgun firearms issued during real world deployments.

a Deployed to Queensland Australia and Andersen AB Guam to support special operations exercise with host nation forces. Participated in several real world deployments and rescue missions in the local theater also.

67th Fighter Squadron, Kadena AB Okinawa Japan 2001-2004:

a Shift Expediter for ten three man load crews who loaded and maintained 26 F-15C model aircraft. Duties also included aircraft forms documenting, supply chain procedures, seven level/post loading inspections of various loading and maintenance procedures, performance tracking and evaluating load crews, enforcing good house keeping and adhering to strict composite tool kit control program guidelines. Supervised and reported on five load crew chiefs. Also took part in total reorganization of Alternate Mission Equipment tracking program which in turn was made NCOIC of the AME office.

a Weapons Load Training LSC three man. Evaluated and instructed all weapons loaders for two fighter squadrons with flight line on the spot evaluations and formal load training monthly qualifications. Tracked and published monthly load crew stats to weapons flight chiefs, organized and judged various load crew competitions, taught weapons academics to loaders/ flight line personnel and enforced strict safety rules to all aircraft maintainers.

1st Fighter Wing EMS Armament Back shop, Langley AFB VA 2004-2007:

a Back Shop Floor Chief and Expediter for swing shift operations of 25 maintainers. Responsible for scheduling, maintenance flow, completion dates and final inspections for AME packages consisting of pylons, missile rails, munitions racks and complete 20 mil. gun systems. Dispatched a and responded maintenance crews to red ball occurrences on the flight line and jammed gun emergencies at the end of runway recovery areas. Packages were inspected, modified and repaired to technical order specifications as needed in a one week period. Supervised twenty five employees and reported on 8 crew team leaders. Tracked and recorded all maintenance performed with Core Automated Maintenance Systems computer program. Selected to lead LEAN team, devised and designed new procedures that cut maintenance and aircraft down time by 35% resulting in quicker more efficient package turn around times.

a Filled Squadron Safety and Environmental coordinator position. Responsible for in house safety and HAZMAT storage education and procedures for 600 employee equipment maintenance squadron. Duties also included LMR hand held radio account, flight line driver licensing and also augmented for Wing Ground and Flight Safety office on monthly basis.
