Supervise and direct maintenance activities, setting priorities in relation to operations requirements.
Ensure the observation of safety rules and regulations. Propose improvements or modifications.

Run a small Spare Parts / Equipment warehouse for drilling operations
Maintain all paperwork in the field, keep records on costs and review invoices for payment against contracts or materials orders. Direct warehouse issues to operating departments.
Maintain up to date rental equipment program database to ensure data integrity.
Maintain inventory tracking system.
Main achievements
* Participated in the start up of Ivanhoe's first three drilling wells in the country providing support to Operations and Drilling management with all purchases, contracts and logistics of general services, communications, steam generators, survey works, security, vehicles, surface test equipment, casing & tubing, tanker trucks, diesel, catering, rental equipment, campers, rig mobilizations and demobilizations and others.

General responsibilities:
Responsible for the general conditions of the rig camp as well as its logistics. Maintained proper inventory of drilling warehouse as well as timely deliveries assuring that all cargo was properly loaded on trucks, fixed wings and helicopters as per SOP and Safety regulations. Supervised drilling contractors (personnel, man/hours, daily rental equipment, fuel consumption, proper equipment maintenance, and any others which applied) maintaining daily costs control. Elaborated internal and external reports (govt, accidents, oil spills, man/hour, monthly downtime, fuel stock and consumption, etc.).

* Promoted cost saving ideas and awareness with the view toward operation optimization consistent with safety meeting well objectives.

* Developed a computer program to keep a more accurate and proper control of all rental equipment reducing unnecessary costs.

Other additional experience involved with drilling and work-over procedures which I am familiarized with:
* Many special down hole operations including gravel packs, running of casing and liner hangers, running of tools to polish the top of the liner hanger to stab in with the patch or a tie back liner to surface.
* Side tracking operations, window milling operations, running casing through the side tracks.
* Wireline logging operations, run bridge plugs, packers, junk baskets, impression blocks, magnets etc.
* Cased hole to open hole correlation logging to enable multiple pack off tool setting, cement evaluation, production / neutron logging and perforating activities.
* Fishing operations with multistage tools, coordinated with machine shops for the fabrication of special tools.
* 5 years attending quarterly safety inspections and rig evaluations.
* Held Rig camp inspections on delegation
* Witnessing / participation on water treatment procedures
