Military Experience

During my military assignment, I performed duties in nuclear propulsion plants operating reactor control, propulsion and power generation systems. This position provided me the opportunity to work closely with specialists in the nuclear, technology, and engineering fields. Maintain a rigorous study and testing schedule to qualify and maintain all Reactor Electrician watch stations. Additional job duties include:

Ensure the continuity of the Nuclear Reactor. Maintain and carry out a PMS schedule on all Reactor and Machinery room electrical equipment. Maintain cleanliness throughout the Reactor and Machinery room spaces. Maintain Radcon training and awareness. Write scheduled watch bills for other reactor department electricians. Act as Assistant Leading Petty Officer of Damage Control Division and oversee maintenance practices of other electricians on damage control equipment in the Reactor and Machinery Room spaces.
