Duties and Responsibilities:

o Perform replacing of control units.

o Perform coding and adaption on control units using Porsche PIWIS

Tester.

o Perform checking of electronic components through "Drive Links"

using Porsche PIWIS Tester.

o Perform trouble shooting/diagnosing of the vehicle faults using

Porsche PIWIS tester "Guided Fault Finding".

o Perform trouble shooting and diagnostic carefully to determine the

trouble.

o Responsibilities for diagnosing of repair, which require minor and

major troubleshooting to avoid back job.

o Carry out work provided competently and within the time laid down

by the Labor time unit.

o Ensure the clocking are recorded as per requested by management.

o Perform pull-down automatic transmission and replacing the

transmission shaft seal.

o Advice the workshop foreman or service advisor for any additional

work is necessary on a car during service / repair.

o Perform estimating the specified defective parts of the vehicle

base on trouble shooting / diagnosing.

o Ensure parts Warranty Claims are retained and are cleaned and drain

of oil, where necessary.

o Ensure exchange parts are return to parts department when required.

o Prepare work overtime, with reasonable notice, if required by

management.

o Ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled.

o Clean vehicles interior and exterior to an acceptable level after

servicing or repairing.

o Perform trouble shooting for engine overheating/cooling system.

o Perform diagnosing of engine performance.

o Perform grinding rotor disc.

o Perform change brake pad and shoes, adjust hand brake.

o Perform engine performance, change spark plugs, air filter and fuel

filter, change ignition coil if not good.

o Perform checking / repairing under chassis, suspension, brake

system, steering system,

o Perform checking Air conditioning system R134a.

o Perform checking and replacing of evaporator, condenser, filter

drier, expansion valve and condenser.

o Perform pull-down transmission change for clutch disc and pressure

plate, pilot bearing, rear engine oil seal.

o Perform localize the fault by studying the current flow/wiring

diagram.

o Perform work provided competently and with the times laid down by

the flat rate manual or to the acceptable to workshop

manage/foreman, where factory times are not available.

o Perform replacing of knock sensors, speed sensors, coolant sensor,

hall sensor, ABS sensor.

o Perform replacing of throttle valve body and carry out basic

setting and adaption.

o Perform replacing of electrical control module.

o Perform checking and erasing of trouble code in the dashboard (ABS,

Airbag and Check Engine light on).

o Perform checking and repairing of electrical system.

o Perform checking and repairing of suspensions.

o Report the fault found during repair / service to the workshop

supervisor / foreman for immediate action plans and solution

o Perform battery charging, proper procedure of battery checking and

changing.
