performed combination welding assignments on all military support vehicles,
and all other military support equipment as assigned. Additional duties and

Stryker Armored Personnel Carrier, and the M1A2 Abrams tank. Welding
assignments consisted of Flux Core Arc Welding and Shielded Metal Arc
Welding processes. In addition, welding assignments also included Tungsten
Inert Gas processes. Welding rod usage for these assignments included the
6010, 6011, 7018 welding rods and MIG Flux Core Wire .035.

Welded, fabricated, and repaired mild steel, stainless steel, and
aluminum structures, including field bleachers, metal canopies, metal
storage units, portable classroom units, and fabricated and installed metal
roofs on several campuses. Fabricated and repaired kitchen and cafeteria
equipment, and fabricated, welded, and repaired boiler-room equipment and
parts. Welding assignments were completed via compliance with blueprints
and building code specifications with application of MIG, TIG, and ARC
processes. Welding rod usage for these welding assignments included the
6010, 6011, 7018, MIG Flux Core Wire .035, ARC3L16 (S/S), and TIG Aluminum
4043.

conducted introductory, mid-level, and advanced level welding instruction.
Instructional design consisted ob both classroom safety and equipment usage
instruction. All levels of Adult Learners complied and participated with
classroom objectives designed to expose the learners to Oxygen Acetylene,
MIG, TIG, and ARC welding processes. Students were required to pass
formative and summative assessments that required students to correctly
identify numerical sequence of penetrating and filler welding rods and
applicable usage of rods.

Welded Cruise Missile aluminum castings in compliance with Department
of Defense directives, guidelines, and specifications. Aluminum castings
complied with 100% x-ray TIG weld inspections. In addition to Cruise
Missile castings, welded other castings as assigned including F-16 aircraft
parts and Harpoon Missile castings. Welding assignments required applicable
usage of the 4043, 5356, and 5254 welding rods.
