location’s (32 employees, 18 bobtail delivery trucks, six service trucks) in central Texas.
Duties included personnel (hiring, training, etc.), regulatory compliance and reporting
(DOT, RRC, OSHA,), P & L, sales, scheduling/routing. Improved profits from
$800,000 to $2,000,000 in one year due to an assembly of professional and
dedicated employees, along with the cultivation of an untapped resource
mainly home builders in an area showing promising growth. Responsible for the
now common practice of installing propane systems for entire subdivisions
built beyond natural gas mains. Installed 8,000 gal. tank and piped MDPE gas
piping to all lots. Sized pipe to handle volume of natural gas demand. When natural
gas lines were extended to area sold system to NG supplier.

Performed technical field work related to oilfield operations in the Houston District Office, Field Operations Section of
the Oil and Gas Division. RRC engineering specialist in the Giddings Austin/Chalk field,work was related to the
drilling, production, and transportation of crude oil and involved conducting surveys, making inspections, investigating
complaints, and collecting and analyzing engineering and geological data. Duties included the gauging of
tanks,required to use testing equipment such as
saltwater testing equipment requiring titration of fluids.
District H2S safety specialist, trained and
certified industry personnel. Certified rescue in H2S sour gas environments.
Extensive knowledge of well casing cementing practices due to witnessing of surface casing setting when requested.
State of Texas On Scene Incident Commander for the 1992 MAPCO lpg storage cavern
explosion near Brenham, TX.
Designated as District Plugger in 1996.
Principal responsibilities included supervising plugging operations of
the State Funded Abandoned Well Program. Scope of work included well bore records research in order to prepare
request for state funds to plug abandoned wells which became jurisdiction of the Railroad Commission, preparing and
evaluating bids, arranging primary contractor and outside services related to plugging operations, and auditing and
processing invoices and payment vouchers.
Oversee plugging operations, calculate bbls. of cement needed to cover usable quality water zones, verifying proper
placement of cement plugs per Railroad Commission procedures. When necessary performed perforate and squeeze
method to set plug.
When able to salvage pipe from well, implemented industry standard fishing
procedures needed for successful pipe recovery. Knowledge of wire line procedures to cut pipe down hole to ensure
maximum pipe recovered.
The completion of detailed reports and forms required excellent writing
skills as well as the ability to follow detailed instructions.
