The Family Case Manager has the responsibility to protect children from abuse and neglect; investigate

reported incidents of child abuse, neglect, establish report credence and develop recommendations to

Juvenile Court for disposition. Testify in Court of Law concerning researched findings and the needs of the

families and children.

Develop case plans to assist families and children to become more self-sufficient in a safe and nurturing

environment and to assure a permanent home for the child. Maintains case files and develops briefing

reports for the child protection team; conduct in-office or placement agency case staffing.
