Director, Louisiana School for the Deaf and Visually Impaired

Direct Information Systems department and manage four support personnel.

Responsible for all computer and network functions for a two school campus

that includes the district offices. I implement necessary procedures and

policies to ensure efficient operation of the department. Support ongoing

technology and implement new systems as needed to support the education

process for the states deaf and blind students. Also provide support for

the state special school district.

September 2009 - August 2011 Director of Information

Systems, Women and Children's Hospital

Manage all aspects of the computer system and telecommunications for the

hospital, doctors, and support staff. Report directly to the Chief

Financial Officer on daily operations of the system or when problems occur.

Plan and implement new hardware, software, and infrastructure additions to

EMR/EHR technology. Support HMS, Promed, McKesson HPP, HSM, and other

hospital software. Manage technical staff and vendors that the hospital

Design, installation, maintenance, and management of network and computer

systems to support hospital radiology systems. Includes the setup and

configuration of Windows 2000, NT, XP, Sun Solaris and various network

switch technology. Use Lotus notes to manage email and daily schedule and
