Attorney/Partner with law firm of Stewart, Melvin & Frost, Gainesville, Georgia. Job
functions included taxation, bank regulatory work, bank acquisitions, bank holding
companies, general corporate and contract work, negotiation and consummation of sales of
companies for prices in the millions of dollars, and complex estate planning.

Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel of Orbit Industries,
Inc., Helen, Georgia and New York City, a company controlled by Merrill Lynch which
reached over $90,000,000.00 in annual sales of women’s apparel domestically produced.
Job functions included general management under the direction of the president and the
board with emphasis on legal, financial, accounting, human resources and computer
hardware and software technology. After the passage of NAFTA, domestic apparel
manufacturing could not compete with imports. Merrill Lynch liquidated the company.
