Strong background in quality management including hands-on manufacturing

and quality experience as well as supplier and customer relations.

Extremely familiar with the introduction of new products, new

manufacturing processes, new plant facility operations and establishing

management systems within the organization. Possess working knowledge of

Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. Also possess experience with

Product Manufactured: Diesel engines for PACCAR companies-Kenworth

and Peterbilt trucks.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the creation and implementation of

quality management systems for assembly and machining operations in a new

manufacturing facility. Directly involved with selection of staff,

process planning, budget planning and management, measurement equipment

acquisition, and implementation of assembly and machining equipment and

processes. Management liaison to external parties such as customers and

suppliers on matters regarding quality or the quality system. Special

emphasis on implementation of TS16949.

Product Manufactured: Gas engines for lawn tractors and various

Responsibilities: Manage departmental budgets, train staff and develop

subordinate personnel. Manage the quality planning activity for new

products, new components, cost reduction, engineering changes, resourcing

and projects. Also manage the ISO system, manage the design and

development of quality systems and maintain the database. Manage the

PPAP process for internal and external processes, make presentations and

conduct meetings as required.
