Security
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of guests, employees, visitors and vendors.
Write reports of daily activities and incident reports.
Call police or fire department in case of emergency or unauthorized visitors.

Patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors windows and gates.
Escort guests, employees, visitors and vendors to specific locations to provide protection.
Communication skills
Public speaker while employed by U.S. Customs.
While working as a security officer communication was very important when the incidents occur,
attitude was the most important factor to obtain all necessary information in order to complete accurate reports.
Trainer
Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on the job training for new hires.
Instruct new hires in how to perform inspections in fire extinguishers and alarm systems.
Confer with management and conduct survey to identify training needs in different areas of the Security field.
